Practicing CelibacyDepends on your goal of life! Celibacy is meant for the spiritual seeker... the traveler of the path of spirituality... those who desire reaching the stage of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) in present lifetime... never otherwise! Practice of absolute celibacy for a minimum period of 12 years in continuation is necessitated if one desires gaining enlightenment in present life. Celibacy is not about abstinence from sexual relationship alone! The physical aspect of celibacy constitutes hardly 10% of the job. The remaining 90% celibacy is practiced mentally. Celibacy truly means cleansing of the thought process of all negative thoughts for always and ever. The moment flow of negative thoughts to the brain altogether stops permanently... one reaches the stage of Nirvikalpa Samadhi! One can have a boyfriend or a girlfriend while traveling the path of celibacy... practicing celibacy... remaining a celibate! This amounts to practicing highest limits of self-control... which in the present materialistic world... the sensual surroundings is difficult... but not impossible! Remaining celibate... practicing self-control in totality... one can always remain a virgin until marriage! Kissing does not matter while practicing celibacy. But kissing leads to sensual indulgences that is beyond the control of individuals... better to avoid kissing as a celibate! If spirituality is not our goal of life we must never indulge in practicing celibacy unless we really want to gain success in life. Most successful people while practicing celibacy transmute their sexual energies to more creative channels... the goal of their choice! Only by transmuting sexual energies to a desired goal of life... one gains absolute success in life... never otherwise! While remaining celibate... a maximum of two sexual indulgences per month are permitted... however one is desirable! Practicing celibacy is a shortcut to success!
