Was Jesus God

Jesus was never God Almighty but a man god. And what differentiates God Almighty from a man god.

God Almighty is one and only one. He never manifests as a human being. It is a different matter that in Hinduism Lord Krishna has been considered an Avatar (God manifest in human form). And presently people are awaiting the advent of Bhagwan Kalki... one with almost the same powers as Lord Krishna and an Avatar of the modern era.

Who is a man god? A man god is one... a normal human being who has gained enlightenment in his lifetime. And thereafter gained salvation (liberation from the cycle of birth and death) forever!

Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ and Prophet Mohammed... all are man gods. In the last about 150 years only two persons have gained enlightenment. They were Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana. Both these enlightened Saints gave back to the community what they had learnt on the path to God.

In Christianity... to treat Jesus as God is crime. Truthfully he is a son of God as all human beings are. We are all beloved sons and daughters of God. There is no other relationship that exists apart from this.

After gaining enlightenment... every true son of God gains entry into the kingdom of God (aka Baikuntha in Hinduism). This is a point of no return. None can ever return from the kingdom of God. Neither can one go to the kingdom of God in bodily form nor can one return from the kingdom of God in bodily form.

Kingdom of God is the place where God Almighty resides. Apart from God Almighty only enlightened souls can exist in the kingdom of God.

Those souls who have not yet gained enlightenment are either present on Mother Earth or in heaven (aka Swarga in Hinduism) or hell (aka Naraka in Hinduism). Heaven and hell are the intermittent stages in the life of a soul where it rests until it gets a body to manifest.

Jesus Christ prayed to God as a normal human being as we all do. To seek blessings of God Almighty is a prerogative of all enlightened souls. We human beings at times are so engrossed in our day-to-day affairs that we forget to say our prayers. But for enlightened souls keeping in touch with God Almighty all the time is essential. Everything preached by Jesus Christ has been stated as revealed words of God... messages of God invoke by Jesus Christ for the benefit of mankind.
