Nothing lay in the hands of human beings after the death of the body! our soul atman the spirit within soul atman... the spirit within is the absolute master and controller of the body and not vice versa. It is our soul atman... the spirit within that has manifested the human form to work out its karma... remove the dross impurities within!

No two lives or manifestations in the cosmic system are connected together directly. Human beings in present life can never know anything of the past life... or the previous manifestations! In the circumstances if we desire a good future... a better journey ahead in the next manifestation... we need a positive residual balance of karma in present life!

Whatever be the closing balance of present life at the time of death of the body... the same becomes the opening balance of the next manifestation... the next life!
