Presence
of Soul Atman
in the Body
The prime reason
why we cannot bring people back to life is... once our soul atman
leaves the body... our heart dies! Does this mean... the presence
of a soul atman in the body is necessitated for life to exist in
the cosmic system... yes, the truth is so!
Looking at other
side of the table we find our soul atman being the only essence
of life! It is our soul atman who is the absolute master and controller
of the body and not vice versa. It is not within the capability
of the body to manifest a soul atman.
In its cosmic
journey ever since a soul atman started its cosmic life of 8.4 million
manifestations... an earthly journey of 96.4 million years... the
goal of every soul atman always remains... reaching the end of cosmic
life... the 8.4 millionth manifestation at the earliest!
The moment human
beings reached the stage of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) all is
over for the soul atman within. Having gained absolute purity...
the need for a soul atman to manifest life... to manifest a body
ceases to exist!
Every soul atman
starts its cosmic life cycle initially as an amoeba (single cell
formation)... the first manifestation in the cosmic life cycle!
It further evolves into multi-cell formation... then insect life,
plant life, animal life and finally the form of human beings!
Similar as a
student of class one jumps to class two... then three... then four
and so on... the journey of life for a soul atman also continues
in the same fashion! Every single human being before reaching the
stage of human form has already passed through every form of insect,
plant and animal life!
The presence
of soul atman in the body is the absolute crux of life! In absence
of a soul atman the body simply could not live or exist! It is our
soul atman in the body that resides in our heart that needs pure
oxygen to survive. The moment our heart becomes dead... it announces
our soul atman leaving the body forever!
As per the doctrine
of karma... after the death of the body our soul atman immediately
manifests a new body... and starts a new cycle of life provided
matching parents are available on Mother Earth. If matching parents
are not available immediately the soul atman hibernates either in
heaven (termed swarga in Hinduism) or hell (termed Naraka in Hinduism).
The hibernating
souls' atmans remain in heaven or hell and no sooner matching parents
become available on Mother Earth... they immediately manifest a
new body and starts a new cycle of life. Understanding the definition
of soul is a necessity for all human beings. Evolution is an intricate
part of cosmic system in absence of which the Cosmos simply could
not proceed further!
It is presence
of soul atman in the body that is of significance... the human form
simply a sojourn in entire life span of every soul atman! Every
soul atman out of 8.4 million manifestations on the whole passes
through 7.3 million manifestations in insect, plant and animal life!
In the human form alone we have 1.1 million types of manifestations
for reaching stage of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana)!
For understanding
underlying principle of souls atmans, Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism
is the only sacred Scripture existing on Mother Earth knowing which
one finally transcends life on Mother Earth... gains omniscience
for all practical purposes... becomes an enlightened one! Understanding
our soul atman is realizing the true self of us... the self of our
inner being!
