Best Quote on DestinyThe best quote on destiny I have learnt early in my life was, "We have one life to live"! Who knows what we shall be in the next manifestation... why not travel the spiritual path now! When young, I was mesmerized by the thoughts of God. When 11 years of age I wanted to see and meet God in this very life. By 13 years of age my desire turned into firm conviction... come whatever may... in this very life I shall see and meet God! The conviction that I had developed was not foolhardy! I inherently knew... if I missed the chance and kept my desire prolonging for the end days of life as most human beings on Mother Earth do... I may not be able to fulfill my purpose in life!
In my country India, I have met people who in the initial stages of life bluntly stated... this is the time for earning livelihood! When comes the time for sanyasa (spiritual reckoning)... we shall be on our path! Let us reach the age of 50. When these people crossed the age of 50... They were reminded of their pledges! Now they had a very simple excuse... they wanted to enjoy the company of their grandchildren! The moment they are free of the worldly longings... they would set foot on the spiritual path... not before! Finally these people reached an age bracket of 70 to 80 years! They had kept waiting for long! They were late in making their decisions... probably; they were losers in the game of life! When I firmed my decision of life... I knew what pitfalls lay ahead! In my journey of spiritual pursuit, I was prepared to leave forever... my parents, brothers and sisters! No matter what, I wanted to go in search of God even if none world over assisted me in search of God. My patience, persistence and perseverance finally paved way for reaching the abode of God... the kingdom of God (aka Vaikuntha in Hinduism) in my lifetime. After 25 years of Yoga meditation... I finally realized God in 1993 at 37 years of age. I had reached the goal of my cosmic life. Having become a pure soul atman... I shall but attain salvation moksha in this very life. I have reached the end goal of cosmic life... the 8.4 millionth manifestation! The essence of all sacred scriptures world over has become like ABC to me. Here I have a piece of advice... Do not keep waiting! We have only one life to live... the present manifestation! We do not know what form of life our soul atman may manifest next! Why not travel the spiritual path now.
