Dreams part of physical manifest LifeNo... Dreams do not play a part in the physical manifested life directly. If we understand what dreams are... the question... the riddle would solve by itself. Dreams are like a pressure release valve as in a pressure cooker. When stresses in physical manifested life increase beyond sustenance by a human being... dreams follow! In absence of dreams... most human beings would die early from heart failure or brain haemorrhage. Dreams reflect the goal of our physical manifested life vis-à-vis the goal of our soul atman within. We must reconcile to the fact that it is our soul atman within that has manifested the body and not vice versa. It is our soul atman within that is on its cosmic journey and to remove the impurities within it manifests a chain of 8.4 million manifestations in a single continuous span of time.
Dominated by the ego... whenever a human being pursues a goal of life contrary to the requirements of our soul atman within... dreams follow! In the dreams our soul atman clearly depicts what it desires from the physical manifested body. To understand or not to understand is the sole prerogative of every human being. By patiently recollecting the flow of thoughts in the dream... one can always find out the requirements of our soul atman within. Why live a life full of tensions when all can be avoided? Interpretation of any dream that occurs is not very difficult for an individual provided we follow the path of absolute truthfulness. The sweet small inner voice of our soul atman coming from within the heart always guides us on the right path. Essay
