Concept of EvolutionThe concept of evolution in Christianity is flawed! Human beings did not evolve directly from Adam and Eve. The concept of evolution is best explained by Bhagavad Gita... the most sacred Scripture of Hinduism existing on Mother Earth. This concept of evolution must become part of every school curriculum. Students must understand the whole chronology behind evolution. As per Bhagavad Gita... when God Almighty... the cluster of all purified souls atmans in the Cosmos explodes itself with a big bang... the Cosmos gets generated... never otherwise! In the melee... all purified souls atmans hurtle down their cosmic journey at unimaginable speeds. In the process they gather impurities... similar as rolling ball gathers moss!
These hurtling souls' atmans in their cosmic sojourn manifest life when life supporting planets like Mother Earth evolve. It takes billions of years before planets become conducive for supporting life. There is not one Mother Earth in the Cosmos... but millions of other life supporting planets in whole of Cosmos! The journey for a soul atman starts by manifesting the form of an amoeba (single cell formation)... the first manifestation in the cosmic life cycle! The journey ends with the 8.4 millionth manifestation... when human beings gained enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha). The human form is the highest manifest stage in the cosmic life cycle. Only as human beings the soul atman within gets liberated from the cycle of birth and death forever. From the first manifestation as an amoeba... to the form of human beings... the quest of soul atman remains... regaining its original prime pristine pure form at the earliest! Travel in the human form is the most pleasant experience by our soul atman. No soul atman can purify of its own. Similar as one KG of pure gold cannot separate itself from a lump of hundred KG of gold ore! Requisite mining machinery and processes are necessitated for separation of pure gold from impurities. Similarly... the soul atman manifests a chain of 8.4 million bodies before reaching the last leg of cosmic life... the 8.4 millionth manifestation! The initial 7.3 million manifestations are spent in insect, plant and animal form! In the human form alone we have 1.1 million manifestations during which human beings are expected to reach the stage of enlightenment and finally salvation. No matter what... now or in future manifestations every single human being has to travel the spiritual path... willingly or compulsively! The process of evolution of life from the first manifestation as an amoeba, then insect life, plant life, animal life and finally the human form is exhilarating. It is difficult to imagine that every single human being in the past has lived life of insects, plants and animals. It is not that human beings have lived that life. It is our soul atman that manifested the particular form. It is our soul atman that is on its cosmic journey of 8.4 million manifestations... an earthly life cycle of 96.4 million years. The entire span of 96.4 million years is one single span of life for the soul atman. After the death of the body the soul atman keeps changing form... body after body... manifestation after manifestation! In the cosmic crux of life our soul atman is the master and controller of the body and not vice versa. It is our soul atman that has manifested the body to work out its karma... Cleanse self of the dross impurities within! It is only through the complex process of karma... life in the Cosmos continues from one manifestation to another. The doctrine of karma is that essential ingredient in the journey of life in absence of which life in Cosmos simply could not sustain. Similar as a child jumps from class one to two, two to three, three to four and onwards... our soul atman manifests bodies one after another! The child remaining the same... the soul atman remaining the same... only the form keeps changing!
