The most profound book that became available to mankind around 1500 years before the advent of Jesus Christ is the sacred Bhagavad Gita... the doctrine put forward by Lord Krishna in the battlefield of Mahabharata.

This one document is sufficient for a human being to reach the level of Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ or Prophet Mohammed.

Bhagavad Gita is the only sacred scripture existing on mother earth knowing which the cosmic journey of 8.4 million manifestations comes to an end. The doctrine of Bhagavad Gita was given to the mankind by Lord Krishna in the battlefield of Mahabharata.

In the Dwaper Yuga, the battle of Mahabharata was fought between the Kauravas and the Pandavas. It was a fight to the finish between dharma and adharma. Kauravas who were closely related to Pandavas wanted the Pandava Kings to go into exile for ever. It was a totally unjustified strategy planned by the Kaurava King Duryodhana to keep them at bay.

Duryodhana wanted to usurp the kingdom which justly belonged to the Pandava Kings. Situation came to such a pass that Lord Krishna who happened to be related to both the clans agreed to mediate. Lord Krishna knew that the Kauravas were bent upon deceit and would try all means to win the end. For the Kaurava Kings truth and ethics carried no meaning.

Lord Krishna who was an avatar of the era had only one goal in sight. Dharma was to be maintained at all costs. And when all persuading and efforts failed... the doctrine of Bhagavad Gita was the only remedy left with Lord Krishna. The doctrine of Bhagavad Gita was thus dictated to Pandava King Arjuna in the battlefield.

Bhagavad Gita encompasses everything that is worth knowable in the whole of Cosmos. There is nothing beyond Bhagavad Gita that is required to be learnt in life. This sacred document is so complex to understand that even the best philosophers and scientists have failed to decipher even a few shlokas (versus) of Bhagavad Gita.

Metaphysics The most fundamental principle of life that requires to be followed by every spiritual seeker is the path of absolute truthfulness. Devoid of this... most human beings never come out of the rut of Samsara (worldly life). Truthfulness is that ingredient on the path of metaphysics devoid of which human beings behave no better than animals.

Humans Beings and becoming immortal It is absolutely clear that no human being can directly either go to heaven or the kingdom of God. The domain of heaven and hell and also the kingdom of God is open for soul atmans only. In the physical manifest form of life as a human being or any other form... any wishful thinking of becoming an immortal does not exist in the cosmic system.
