God
and Suffering
Ever since god
almighty created the Cosmos... he acts as a Dhrista (an onlooker)...
he never interferes in the creation of his. God Almighty created
human beings in his image so that reaching the level of human beings...
one can gain enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and then salvation (moksha).
Thereafter it is a direct journey to the kingdom of God (aka Vaikuntha
in Hinduism).
Joy and sufferings
are part of human life. In absence of suffering... none could enjoy
joy and in absence of joy... none could know the meaning of sufferings.
Both are part of a system that cannot err. We normally observe in
day-to-day life that to shape metal into a sword... it is first
heated... then beaten up... then inserted in cold water. Again heated,
beaten up and inserted in cold water. Finally a shining sword emerges.
In
the journey of life unless there are sufferings and joy... we shall not reach
our goals in life. Sufferings are as important as joy itself. It gives meaning
to life. It is only when we suffer... we remember god and his nice creation. It
is only then we assign true meaning to life. In
the cosmic affairs of things... our soul atman within has manifested this body
of a human being. our soul atman the spirit within soul atman has a total of 8.4 million manifestations to
reach the kingdom of God (aka Vaikuntha in Hinduism). Only when a human being
gains enlightenment and salvation... does the soul atman within get liberated
forever from the cycle of birth and death. God
is not the form of a human being... the temperatures within God exceed trillions
of degrees centigrade... it a sheer pure energy much beyond the comprehension
of human beings. Essay
