Going
to Heaven or Hell (heaven swarga hell naraka)
Bhagavad Gita... the most
sacred Scripture of Hinduism... the doctrine given to mankind by
Lord Krishna clearly defines heaven (Swarga in Hinduism) and hell
(Naraka in Hinduism). As enumerated in Bhagavad Gita... whenever
matching parents are not available to the soul atman after the death
of the mortal fame... the body... the soul atman either hibernates
in heaven or hell.
The soul atman
goes to Heaven if the residual balance of karma is positive and
hell if negative. Bhagavad Gita clearly defines the existence of
Heaven in the core of the sun where temperatures exceed millions
of degrees centigrade. The soul atman whenever not manifesting a
body feels comfortable in such temperatures.
Hell
is located in the periphery of the sun where temperatures are comparatively less.
Every soul atman thus suffers as it is not accustomed for such low temperatures.
Heaven and hell are interim stages in the cosmic life cycle of the soul atman.
None can go to Heaven or hell in bodily form. Nor any soul atman can go directly
to the kingdom of God from Heaven or hell. It
is only as a human being... the highest manifest stage in the cosmic life cycle...
one reaches the stage of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and salvation (moksha).
Only then the soul atman within gets liberated forever from the cycle of manifestations
and goes to the kingdom of God (aka Vaikuntha in Hinduism) forever... a place
of no return! Essay
