Hinduism is the most fascinating religion amongst all. Why? Hinduism religion is the oldest of all yet, it is never termed a religion. Why? Lord Krishna... an Avatar of his era (God manifest in human form)... Mahavira... Gautama Buddha... all belonged to India... the base of Hinduism!

Gautama Buddha came 423 years earlier to Jesus Christ... Mahavira 77 years before Gautama Buddha! And preceded Mahavira... Lord Krishna by almost 1000 years! It is above 3600 years when Lord Krishna descended on Mother Earth.

Hinduism is a conglomerate of various faiths and practices that includes teachings of Vedas, Upanishads, the Sacred Bhagavad Gita, Puranas and Itihasas! There is no dearth of sacred literature in Hinduism yet; the Sacred Bhagvad Gita is the foremost of all.

The doctrine of Bhagavad Gita was given to mankind by Lord Krishna in the battle of Mahabharata! Bhagavat Gita is one such scripture knowing which... one becomes the knower of all... gains omniscience for all practical purposes!

It is teachings of Bhagavad Gita following which Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ and Prophet Mohammed gained enlightenment in their lifetime. The precepts contained in Bhagavad Gita can never be understood literally... one needs reading in between the lines!

For crossing the ocean of Samsara (worldly life)... the pearls of wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita suffice. Both Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana gained enlightenment in their lifetime following the teachings of Bhagavad Gita!

The 700 shlokas (verses) contained in Bhagavad Gita suffice the spiritual journey. One need not refer to Vedas or Upanishads... Puranas or Itihasas! In whatever stage of life one be... enlightenment can be reached via the path of jnana yoga prescribed in Bhagavad Gita.

Bhagavad Gita forms the core of Hinduism... the inner strength of Hinduism! Bhagvad Gita is like the soul of Hinduism... as in absence of a soul the body carries no meaning... in absence of Bhagavat Gita also... Hinduism carries no meaning!

Ever since Lord Krishna precipitated the wisdom of Bhagvad Gita... the meaning of life became worthwhile! One can easily travel the spiritual path... the uncharted territory of spirituality following the dictates of Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism!

Hinduism is one such a religion that has universal appeal. Any human being world over can follow the precepts of Hinduism... moreover Bhagvad Gita without ever converting to Hinduism religion... or leaving ones religion! What can be nobler than following Bhagavad Gita!
