Basic
Beliefs of Hinduism
Hinduism is
the most fascinating religion amongst all religions of the world!
Why? Primarily Hinduism is not a religion... it is a way of life!
Hinduism never demands its followers to fanatically follow the precepts...
the tenets of Hinduism as in Christianity and Islamic Dharma.
Hinduism religion
has a broad base. The beliefs of Hinduism have a logical understanding
and conclusion. Anyone whether a Hindu or not can follow the tenets
of Hinduism. One need not convert to Hinduism religion for following
the sacred teachings of Hinduism... primarily the sacred Bhagavad
Gita and Upanishads!
In present times
one need not follow scriptures like Veda. In the earlier era when
jnana Wisdom had not gained a footing... people prayed to God out
of fear. People worshipped God to seek his blessings in each and
every affairs of life! In present times the needs have changed.
Mankind has understood the crux of life.
As per sacred
Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism... our soul atman... the spirit within
is the absolute master and controller of the body and not vice versa!
our soul atman the spirit within soul atman has manifested the human body to work out its karma...
remove the dross impurities within! It is not within the powers
of a human body to manifest a soul atman!
Ever since Bhagavad
Gita came into being... one need not venture into Vedas and Puranas!
The essence of Vedas... the Puranas was squeezed into juice and
the precipitated matter was termed the sacred Bhagavad Gita! The
doctrine of Bhagavad Gita was given to mankind by Lord Krishna in
the battle of Mahabharata.
Bhagavad Gita
advocates human beings reaching the stage of salvation (moksha)...
assimilating the teachings of Bhagavad Gita as a necessity of present
life! In absence of Bhagavad Gita... it is practically impossible
for travelers of spiritual path reaching the stage of enlightenment
(kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha).
The 700 shlokas
verses contained in Bhagavad Gita form the essence of life. The
knower of Bhagavad Gita finally becomes the knower of all... gains
omniscience for all practical purposes! The gist of Bhagavad Gita...
the essence of Bhagavat Gita... the teachings of Bhagvad Gita can
never be understood literally... one needs reading in between the
lines!
By assimilating
the wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita... human beings reduce the
ignorance within! As the ignorance within the human beings reduces
step-by-step... one scales higher on the spiritual platform... finally
reaching the end goal of cosmic life... the 8.4 millionth manifestation...
the last in the cosmic life cycle when human beings gained enlightenment
and salvation.
Assimilating
the jnana wisdom contained in any scripture of any religion... human
beings finally transcended the world of Samsara (worldly life).
One may belong to any religion of the world yet, for reaching the
stage of salvation moksha assimilating the wisdom contained in sacred
Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism is an absolute necessity!
religion and
spirituality are miles apart. Religion is primarily meant for keeping
the flock together. It is religion that keeps humanity bonded together
and is necessitated for traveling... passing the ephemeral phase
of life in a meaningful manner! By dwelling in spirituality... human
beings finally scaled all barriers of cosmic life and the reached
the stage of enlightenment and salvation!
