Brahma
Hinduism
The Hindu Trimurti
consists of Brahma (the Creator), Vishnu (the maintainer) and Shiva
(the destroyer). Unless life in cosmic system dies... there can
never be rebirth! Only after the death of the body... our soul atman...
the spirit within manifests a new form and starts a new journey
of life!
The Hindu Trinity
consisting of Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh (aka Shiva) are three attributes
of God Almighty termed Brahman, Parmatman, Sanatana Purusha and
Karta in Hinduism. As per Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism Brahman is the
only truth of life. Rest all is work of Maya (veil of illusion).
As per Adi Shankaracharya the whole cosmic system exists only in
thoughts of God.
Truthfully speaking...
nothing else exists except Brahman in Hinduism. Why? If we say God
Almighty created the cosmos... then what before? If we say cosmos
exists from times immemorial... then it must have a boundary! If
there is a boundary... then what beyond!
The nature of
cosmic system is best explained by the doctrine of Maya (veil of
illusion).
