Hindu Trinity of Gods Trimurti

The Hindu trinity of gods termed Trimurti in Hinduism consists of Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh. All the three Brahma (the Creator), Vishnu (the maintainer) and Shiva (the destroyer) are different attributes of one God Almighty termed Brahman in Hinduism.

Lord Shiva is considered the most powerful attribute of God Almighty also termed Parmatman, Karta and Sanatana Purusha in Hinduism. Brahman is one... the one and only one! It is only when Brahman... God Almighty explodes self the whole cosmos gets created... ever otherwise!

As per Hinduism... as per the sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism God Almighty, Brahman is the only truth of life. As per the doctrine of Maya (veil of illusion) advocated by Adi Shankaracharya the whole world... the whole cosmic system exists only in thoughts of God.

Apart from the existence of Brahman... the collective power of all purified souls atmans in the Cosmos at a given point of time... nothing else exists in the Cosmos! Knowing the contents of Bhagavad Gita... one finally unveils the cosmic truth... that God Almighty is the only truth of life.

As per Hinduism the total power of God Almighty cannot be summed up in one God... in one attribute... hence three attributes of God Almighty were created by the sages and saints of yester era. It is easier to pray to God with three attributes.

Lord Shiva is the most powerful attribute as it has command over death. The most fearful of all traits of character in human beings is the power of death... the prime reason why people fear Mahesh (aka Shiva).

People worship all the three attributes depending upon their choice. Some worship Shiva... others Vishnu... and the balance Brahma! Those on the path of pure spirituality never worship different attributes of God Almighty... they simply desire reaching God Almighty at the earliest.
