Hindu
upbringing of Children
Mandir (temple)
in Hinduism is a place for religious gatherings... to offer our
prayers to God Almighty! People worship different modes of God in
Mandir (temple).
For the community...
for the society to maintain its moral and ethical standards... it
is imperative that Hindu children pray to God Almighty by religiously
going to Mandir (temple).
God Almighty
exists within us in minuscule form as our soul atman. Those who
understand this truth of life never go to a Mandir (temple). They
do not need a medium to pray to God.
Commoners...
masses unable to indulge in Sacred Scriptures worship God only through
the mode of Mandir (temple)... the visible form of God Almighty.
They place statues of God in Mandir (temple)... and pray to God
Almighty!
Religiously
going to a Mandir temple is not bad in any way. However... if we
desire traveling the spiritual path in present life... following
the path of rituals is not necessitated. One need not go to a Mandir
temple at all!
