Bhagavad Gita
is the most sacred holy scripture of Hinduism. Bhagavad Gita forms
the core of Hinduism. Gaining the wisdom contained in sacred Bhagavad
Gita of Hinduism... human beings gained enlightenment (kaivalya
jnana) and finally salvation (moksha).
Amongst all
the scriptures of different religions available on Mother Earth,
Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism remains the foremost of all. The path
of spirituality is best covered fathoming the depth of wisdom contained
in Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism.
In Hinduism
initially came the Vedas (direct words from God Almighty). The four
important Vedas... the Rig Veda, the Sama Veda, the Yajur Veda and
Atharva Veda were voluminous documents incomprehensible to the masses.
Came Lord Krishna and the essence of four Vedas was reduced to Bhagavad
Gita... also termed Vedanta (end of Vedas).
The two great
epics of Hinduism... the sacred Mahabharata and Ramayana are greatly
revered by Hindus world over. Hinduism contains many independent
treatises termed Upanishads. These independent treatises Upanishads
contain commentaries by renowned sages and saints of their era.
The Katha Upanishad, ken Upanishad, Isa Upanishad and Yajnavalkya
Upanishad form the main Upanishads.
Apart from above
scriptures there are numerous other scriptures in fore.
