Immortality
(attainment of immortality)
The concept
of immortality as understood by most human beings is flawed! Physical
immortality does not mean anything. In the human form... bodily...
no human being can ever gain immortality! It simply cannot be. Immortality
is meant for the soul atman... the ultimate master and controller
of the body! our soul atman the spirit within soul atman is indestructible... it can neither
be created nor destroyed!
The concept
of immortality is best explained by Bhagavad Gita... the most sacred
Scripture of Hinduism existing on Mother Earth. The human form is
but an interim stage in the life cycle of our soul atman... in the
circumstances how the outer covering... the body gain immortality!
It is our soul
atman that has manifested the human body to work out its karma...
remove the dross impurities within... and not vice versa! It is
not within the capability of the human body to manifest a soul atman.
our soul atman the spirit within soul atman being the ultimate governor of the body... the immortality
also belongs to our soul atman.
Body after body...
manifestation after manifestation... our soul atman keeps changing
the outer form! The manifestation of the body is totally dependent
upon the residual balance of karma from all the previous manifestations.
From the beginning to the end... from the first manifestation to
the last... the 8.4 million manifestation... the goal of soul atman
remains... liberation from the cycle of birth and death forever!
No sooner human
beings reach the stage of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana)... and
finally salvation (moksha)... the human being is considered reached
the stage of immortality! It is not the human form that has become
immortal... our soul atman in fact... devoid of all impurities within
has regained its original pure prime pristine form.
All man gods
like Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ and Prophet Mohammed
in their lifetime became immortal. This simply means having reached
the stage of immortality... the stage of enlightenment and salvation...
these liberated souls finally entered the abode of God... the kingdom
of God (aka Vaikuntha in Hinduism).
The kingdom
of God Vaikuntha is a point of no return. The liberated souls remain
in the kingdom of God Vaikuntha until eternity i.e. until the dissolution
of the Cosmos, the collapse of the Cosmos occurs... never before!
If the religious
masters of today preach those entering the kingdom of heaven become
immortal... they are simply being ignorant! Both heaven and hell
are interim stages in the life cycle of soul atman. Heaven exists
in the center of sun where temperatures exceed millions of degrees
centigrade. Hell exists in the periphery of the sun where temperatures
are considerably less.
As per the Sacred
Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism... after the death of the body when matching
parents are not available on Mother Earth... the soul atman hibernates
either in heaven or hell. In heaven... if the residual balance of
karma is positive and hell, if negative! The moment matching body
is available on Mother Earth... the resting soul atman immediately
manifests a new body... and starts a new cycle of life!
In the physical
form the maximum human beings can reach theoretically is 300 years.
Practically... some sages may live up to 200 years or so! Why? As
a seeker of spirituality... in search of God... while practicing
Shavasana pose of yoga... I was able to reduce my heartbeat from
72 to 28. The moment I reduced my heartbeat to 26... The voice of
my soul atman prompted from within... no further... it was scary...
it meant immediate death!
As per the Sacred
Scriptures the average life of human beings has been considered
hundred. With a heartbeat of 72, one can live up to hundred years.
What if we reduce our heart beat to 48... We can live up to 200
years! Working out an average... if renowned sages and saints maintain
their heartbeat around 32 and beyond... they may live up to 200
years... not more!
Those on the
path of spirituality... never desire prolonging their physical manifest
form. The moment I realized God in 1993... I wanted to leave my
body at 37 years of age. I had reached the end goal of cosmic life...
the 8.4 million manifestation! I took the path of Mahavira... I
retained my body to complete my family duties... and further my
spiritual goals of life... impart back to the community what I had
gained on the spiritual path!
