Can human beings truly reach the stage of immortality? Can we ever become immortal? So is never to be. Human beings... the physical manifest self never gains immortality! Why? Immortality is the domain of our soul atman... the spirit within. It is our soul atman that has manifested the human body to work out its karma... remove the dross impurities within.

Our soul atman being the ultimate governor of the physical manifest form... it is not within the powers of human beings to gain immortality! What does immortality truly mean? The moment our soul atman... the spirit within liberates itself of the cycle of birth and death forever... it regains its original pure prime pristine primordial form. It is then stated as human beings reaching the stage of immortality!

Bodily... none can become immortal... live forever! The human body was not meant for that. Furthermore... both heaven and hell are not what religious masters of present times teach us. Heaven exists in the core of sun... where temperatures exceed millions of degrees centigrade. It is in such high temperatures the soul atman feels comfortable.

Hell exists in the periphery of the sun where temperatures are considerably less. It is in such low temperatures... the soul atman suffers for eternity! Both heaven and hell are interim stages for the soul atman if matching parents are not available on Mother Earth. The soul atman in absence of matching parents hibernates in heaven if the residual balance of karma is positive... hell if negative!

None can bodily go to heaven... nor can a human being become immortal. God Almighty also is not the form of human beings... in the circumstances to expect immortality of the body is feigning ignorance! Immortality can only be gained by human beings by reaching the stage of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha).

The moment human beings reached the stage of enlightenment... all is over for the soul atman within! The liberated soul atman finally enters the abode of God... the kingdom of God (aka Vaikuntha in Hinduism). This is what constitutes immortality of the soul.

The liberated soul atman having regained its original pure prime pristine primordial form remains in Vaikuntha... until dissolution of the Cosmos occurs! This is what immortality is all about.
