Karma and Free WillKarma and free will have always existed as two independent entities of the cosmic system! The free will of a human being stems from the fact that every individual human being has a soul atman... the spirit within residing within our heart! It is the presence of our soul atman that causes life to exist in the cosmic system. In absence of a soul atman... the inert body would simply decay and die! The presence of super consciousness... the presence of the spiritual consciousness within our heart... the presence of an indestructible soul atman proves beyond out that our soul atman in fact is the absolute master and controller of the body and not otherwise. Every soul atman manifests a human form to work out its karma... remove the dross impurities within! Similar as one KG of pure gold cannot separate itself from a lump of hundred KG of gold ore and requires external mining processes and machinery... our soul atman also requires manifesting karma through a series of bodies... 8.4 million manifestations on the whole! Karma is that inherent ingredient of the cosmic system through which continuity of life is maintained in the cosmic system. In absence of karma... life in the cosmic system simply could not exist. The existences of soul... the existence of God Almighty... the existence of human beings... the existence of doctrine of karma are all interrelated! Ever since the beginning of time when God Almighty exploded self with a big bang... and all pure souls' atmans scattered all over at unimaginable speeds... in the melee, the hurtling souls' atmans gathered impurities similar as a rolling ball gathers moss. To cleanse themselves of the dross impurities within every soul atman manifests bodies after another. In its entire life span of 8.4 million manifestations... an earthly life cycle of 96.4 million years... the soul atman comes back to is original prime pure pristine primordial form the moment human beings reached the stage of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha). Gaining liberation from the cycle of birth and death forever is the only goal of life for a soul atman. It is through the complex process of karma... life moves from one manifestation to another! At the time of death of a body... whatever the residual balance of karma of present life... becomes the opening balance for next manifestation... the new cycle of life! At no stage of life karma of one soul atman can ever affect the working of another soul atman. Bhagavad Gita... the most sacred scripture of Hinduism on Mother Earth is absolutely clear on this point. Does this mean the control of destiny lay in the hands of human beings and not God Almighty... yes, the truth is so! As we sow so shall we reap... nothing less or more says the law of karma. We cannot expect mangoes to grow on a guava tree. By exercising free will human beings scaled higher levels of life. It is the presence of free will that makes human beings the highest manifest stage in the cosmic life cycle. Only as human beings our soul atman becomes free... liberates itself from the cycle of birth and death forever... never otherwise! It is the presence of free will within human beings that gives us power over destiny. our soul atman the spirit within soul atman is independent of every other soul atman. The free will is exercised by not human beings but our soul atman that exists within the body in our heart. By traveling the path of absolute truthfulness... by remaining truthful all the time... any human being can reach the stage of Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ or Prophet Mohammed... an enlightened one! To do or not to do is the sole prerogative of every individual human being. We must always remember... we have one life to live! Who knows what we shall be in the next manifestation... why not travel the spiritual path now! It is only by traveling the spiritual path... exercising free will human beings reached the stage of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha). By assimilating wisdom contained in Sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism... by reducing ignorance step-by-step at every stage of life... one reduced the karma... rather exhausted the karma... burned the karma slowly! The moment human beings gained enlightenment... it announces ceasing of karma forever. Having become pure... having gained absolute purity... the purified soul atman need not manifest a body further! For a pure soul atman the need to manifest karma through a body now ceases to exist. From the first manifestation to the last... the 8.4 millionth manifestation... the goal of life for every soul atman remains burning the karma in its entirety forever! Both free will and karma are exercised by the physical manifested form... the form of human beings! Of itself... no soul atman can purify itself! Does it mean that it is prime duty of every human being to assist its soul atman in reaching the cosmic end of life at the earliest... yes, the truth is so!
