The manifest life we live has two facets. One is the goal and other the journey! Most human beings in life never carry a goal... a passion indulging in which we feel the pleasure of life... the joy of working! Life is never supposed to be passed by! In the earthly sojourn of 70 to 80 years... we definitely must live a life of choice!

We always need remember... we have only "one life to live"... why not spend it at its best! This is possible only when we have a burning desire... a definite goal in life! Almost 95% people existing on Mother Earth never develop a goal in life. Their life is like a rudderless boat going round and round in the ocean! Having a fixed goal in life is journey half covered!

Forming a goal in the early stages of life has its benefits! When young 11 years of age I had a desire to see God in this very life. By 13 my desire turned into firm conviction! Come whatever... in this very life... I shall see and meet God! With no spiritual master to guide, I started on the uncharted path having absolute faith in the entity of God Almighty.

I realized in the early stages of life that our soul atman within manifests the body to work out its karma. When the fruits of the karma do not belong to the body but the soul atman within... why not work as a trustee throughout life. As stated in Bhagavad Gita (the most sacred Scripture of Hinduism existing on Mother Earth) everything belongs to God Almighty.

In truth we are but a pawn in the hands of God Almighty. Why run after wanton desires and materialistic riches that shall not belong to me after the body passes away. JRD Tata was a trustee par excellence! In his lifetime he never made a house. He lived in the presidential suite of his Taj Mahal Hotel. His advice to all was... never indulge in the affairs of his!

Living life as a trustee is the best philosophy in life! This is the only way we can live our life Nishakama karma way! Carrying out our karma without indulging in the fruits thereof is what life is all about! Most human beings spend their precious lifetime accumulating material riches beyond requirements! When comes the time to leave... all is left behind!

One who states life does not exist after death... can never be termed educated or successful in life! Why? It is for the simple reason that death is an integral part of cosmic life! Only when the soul atman manifests a body... a human being is born... never of its own! Our soul atman within is the master and controller of the body.

Chessboard of Life
In the chessboard of life we initially start as a pawn... the most elementary form of life... nothing within our control! As life passes by... until after 7.3 million manifestations in the insect, plant and animal form... we finally reach level of human beings! As human beings we sometimes behave like a Knight and sometimes a stallion!
