Ego and freedomThe ego of a human being is what makes one! Let loose... the ego of one can cause irreparable damage... an absolute chaos in practical life! Restricted and directed towards a definite goal... one becomes a Bill Gates in life. The ego of a human being is directly governed by the emotions, the intellect, the wit and wisdom one practices in daily life! Devoid of ego... every living being would be a mass of living flesh! It is our ego that propels one to work... carry out our daily karma with earnestness. In the absence of ego... no human being would ever work! All would idle on the cosmic path... leaving everything to chance! This would lead to absolute chaos world over. Apart from our ego every human being is controlled by... rather guided by the sweet small voice of our soul atman within that seems to come from within our heart. our soul atman the spirit within heart is the dwelling place for our soul atman within. Whenever we tend to go wrong... this sweet small inner voice of our soul atman within tends to guide us on the right path. To follow or not to follow is the prerogative of every individual living being. Human beings who form a goal in life prompted by the soul atman within always succeed in life. Those who let their ego find the path fail miserably! The ego of a human being prompted by wanton desires and the greed for materialistic riches mostly prompts one on the wrong path.
