Killing self is the biggest of all crimes human beings can get into. Why? It is for the simple reason human beings are not the owner of the body. Our soul atman... the spirit within is the absolute master and controller of the body and not vice versa. It is not within the capability of the human body to manifest a soul atman.

Our soul atman... the spirit within manifests the human body to work out its karma... remove the dross impurities within! Karma is the governing factor of the whole cosmos through which life moves from one manifestation to another. In absence of karma life simply could not exist in the cosmic system.

After the death of the body... our soul atman manifests a new body if matching parents are available on Mother Earth. If matching parents are not available... based on the residual balance of karma the soul atman hibernates either in heaven or hell. In Heaven if residual balance of karma is positive and hell if negative!

The manifestation of the body is primarily based on the residual balance of karma of all the previous manifestations. Every human being exists between the karmic scale of 7.300001 and 8.400000. Suppose we are born on the karmic scale of 7.400100 and we commit suicide. What if God Almighty awards a negative marking of minus thousand for such a breach of trust?

In the next manifestation our soul atman would manifest a body at the level of 7.399100... Thousand points lower than the earlier manifestation. Is this what we wanted? Suppose we were born in the house of an entrepreneur... a well established businessman. And by a negative marking of 1000 points... I may be forced a birth in the house of a cobbler... a lower level!

As per the scriptures... the Sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism... if a person commits many murders in life... it is possible that the soul atman of this person manifests the form of an animal in next manifestation. How? Human beings manifest life starting from 7.300001 and suppose I exist at 7.309100. Because of mass murders suppose I am awarded a negative marking of -50,000.

In the next manifestation my soul atman would manifest a body at the level of 7.259100... The karmic scale of which falls in the category of animals! It is not only possible... such things do happen in the cosmic system! Why commit suicide... and manifest a lower life form in next manifestation!

If we desire our soul atman does not reincarnate another body in the next manifestation we need gaining enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) in present life. We have to reach the stage of Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ or Prophet Mohammed. We have to become a man God and gain salvation (moksha).
