Gaining
Salvation For
getting salvation (aka moksha in Hinduism) one needs to travel the path of spirituality
(not religion). Salvation announces the end of journey of life for the soul atman
within every human being. No further body to manifest... the soul atman liberates
forever and goes to the kingdom of God (aka Baikuntha in Hinduism)... a point
of no return! There
are some prerequisites for traveling the spiritual path. 1.
We need to practice absolute truthfulness in our day-to-day affairs of life. 2.
We need to believe in the existence of God and his creation. In absence of absolute
faith in Almighty God... salvation just cannot be achieved. 3.
Every human being is primarily a karma yogi... one who performs karma as one proceeds
in the journey of life. This karma requires to be absolutely negated... the cessation
of karma in its entirety is a definite must before one reaches the stage of Nirvikalpa
Samadhi. Until a residual balance of karma remains... the soul atman within shall
continue manifesting body after another. And
for this one requires to perform karma... the Nishakama karma way! And what is
Nishakama karma? Carrying out karma in a manner that one is not attached to the
fruits of karma is Nishakama karma. We all know that our soul atman within has
manifested the body. Whatever be the karma performed by the body... the fruits
are always for the soul atman within. The fruits of karma were never meant for
the body. King
Janaka... the father of Sita in Ramayana was a karma yogi par excellence! He gained
enlightenment and finally salvation in his lifetime. 4.
One needs to practice absolute celibacy for a minimum period of 12 years. Practicing
absolute celibacy does not mean abstinence from sex. It is always voluntary. 5.
Following the path of Neti (not this, not this) as preached and advocated by Maharishi
Ramana is the sure shot method for reaching the stage of Nirvikalpa Samadhi. Neti
is best followed in the Shavasana pose of yoga (the death pose). 6.
Gaining control of the five senses and the mind in totality. This is really a
difficult task but not impossible. For traveling the uncharted path of spirituality...
gaining control of the five senses and the mind in a short span of one life is
extremely difficult. This
fact can be fathomed from the evidence available. In the last about 150 years
only two persons gained enlightenment and finally salvation (amongst a community
of 6000 million people)... they were Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi
Ramana. And most
crucial of all... a definite goal in life to become one with God is an essential
must. Most human beings traveling the spiritual path do not finalize a goal of
this life. We do not know what we shall be in the next manifestation! Slowly
the spiritual seeker reaches the stage of Nirvikalpa Samadhi and gains one-to-one
dialogue with God on a permanent basis. This is the stage of enlightenment (kaivalya
jnana). Thereafter one gains salvation (moksha)... liberation from the cycle of
birth and death forever. Essay by: Vijay

Define Moksha
In Hinduism moksha is
reaching the level of Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ or Prophet Mohammed.
Having gained kaivalya jnana... the atman within liberates forever from the cycle
of birth and death. No further life to manifest... the liberated atman goes to
Baikuntha (the abode of God).

Getting
Moksha Moksha
in Hinduism means liberation of the atman (soul) from the cycle of manifestations
forever. Having reached the stage of moksha (aka salvation)... our atman goes
to Baikuntha (aka kingdom of God in Christianity)... a point of no return! Moksha
is achieved after reaching the stage of kaivalya jnana (enlightenment). Moksha
is the end of cosmic life for our atman.

Letter to all
mankind and Immortality Understand
the noble goal of "Atman" within you ... cause for all misery and fear vanishes.
None can cause harm to any "Atman" being immortal. The "Atman" can not itself
liberate to rejoin the "Lord" until it has cleansed itself (Karma
is exhausted) through various manifested physical forms.

Humans
Beings and becoming immortal It
is absolutely clear that no human being can directly either go to heaven or the
kingdom of God. The domain of heaven and hell and also the kingdom of God is open
for soul atmans only. In the physical manifest form of life as a human being or
any other form... any wishful thinking of becoming an immortal does not exist
in the cosmic system. | |
