Getting
Moksha Moksha
in Hinduism means liberation of the atman (soul) from the cycle of manifestations
forever. Having reached the stage of moksha (aka salvation)... our atman goes
to Baikuntha (aka kingdom of God in Christianity)... a point of no return! Moksha
is achieved after reaching the stage of kaivalya jnana (enlightenment). Moksha
is the end of cosmic life for our atman. Any
human being... at whatever stage of life one may be can attain kaivalya jnana
and finally moksha. Adi Shankaracharya took moksha at the young age of 32 years.
Mahavira gained kaivalya jnana at 42 and moksha at 72 years of age. Gautama Buddha
took salvation (moksha) at 81 years of age. Age
is never a bar in the life of a spiritual seeker. All is the result of the residual
karma of the previous lives. Acharya Rajneesh (popularly called Osho) was one
step below the stage of kaivalya jnana when he lost self-control and mixed sex
with spiritual teachings. He
failed in the end years of his life. When the soul of Acharya Rajneesh takes next
manifestation... it is possible that one gains kaivalya jnana and moksha at an
early age. Normally
it has been observed that having gained kaivalya jnana... the spiritual master
prefers to retain his body to preach the gems of wisdom gathered on the spiritual
path. This is the only way the teachings of the spiritual master... the kaivalya
Jnani (enlightened soul) reaches the masses. For
gaining moksha... one needs to take absolute control over the five senses and
the mind, perform karma... the Nishakama karma way, practice absolute truthfulness
in all affairs of life, practice absolute celibacy for a minimum period of 12
years and follow the path of Neti (not this, not this) as practiced and advocated
by Maharishi Ramana. This
result in full awakening of the Kundalini and one reaches the stage of Nirvikalpa
Samadhi. One has
finally gained kaivalya jnana! The moment this kaivalya Jnani decides to leave
the body... the mortal frame... it is known as moksha (salvation)! Essay by: Vijay

Salvation For
getting salvation (aka moksha in Hinduism) one needs to travel the path of spirituality
(not religion). Salvation announces the end of journey of life for the soul atman
within every human being. No further body to manifest... the soul atman liberates
forever and goes to the kingdom of God (aka Baikuntha in Hinduism)... a point
of no return!

Letter to all
mankind and Immortality Understand
the noble goal of "Atman" within you ... cause for all misery and fear vanishes.
None can cause harm to any "Atman" being immortal. The "Atman" can not itself
liberate to rejoin the "Lord" until it has cleansed itself (Karma
is exhausted) through various manifested physical forms.

Humans
Beings and becoming immortal It
is absolutely clear that no human being can directly either go to heaven or the
kingdom of God. The domain of heaven and hell and also the kingdom of God is open
for soul atmans only. In the physical manifest form of life as a human being or
any other form... any wishful thinking of becoming an immortal does not exist
in the cosmic system. | |
