Who am I

According to me I am neither the body, mind nor infinite consciousness! I am but a very small part of infinite consciousness.

I am a living soul... of the same essence as God Almighty himself. I have manifested the body that is recognized as godrealized.

I am an integral part of the whole Cosmos. I was generated when the big bang occurred. Since then I have been manifesting one body after another. Traveling the path of a human body is the last leg of my manifestation.

It is only as a human being that I shall become free forever from the cycle of birth and death. I shall liberate finally one-day after gaining enlightenment and finally seek salvation (aka moksha in Hinduism). It is only then I shall be able to reach the house of God known as kingdom of God (aka Vaikuntha in Hinduism).

The essence of me... a soul (aka Atman in Hinduism) has been very aptly described in Katha Upanishad in Hinduism. The dialogues of Nachiketa with Lord Shiva on the different attributes of the soul are world famous and carry great significance in the spiritual world.

For serious seekers of spirituality studying the dialogues of Nachiketa with Lord Shiva on the query, "who am I" is without a parallel.
