Yes, trees have souls like human beings. Ever since life began on Mother Earth... our souls atmans initially manifested the form of an amoeba (single cell formation)... the first manifestation in the cosmic life cycle! It further evolved into multi cell formation... then insect life, plant life, animal life and finally the form of human beings!

Before reaching the human stage... every soul atman has already manifested every type of plant form. Every soul atman... the spirit within before reaching the human form has already crossed 7.3 million manifestations in insect, plant and animal form. Out of a total of 8.4 million manifestations in the cosmic life cycle, remaining 1.1 million manifestations are in human form.

The human form is the highest manifest stage in the cosmic life cycle. Only as human beings our soul atman... the spirit within regains its original pure prime pristine primordial form... never otherwise! Plants are living beings situated at much lower level of evolutionary scale. It is as if... students of class one looking at student of class four.

For human beings... all the stages of insect life, plant life and animal life are like a student of class 12 looking at students of class one, class four or class 10! None of the lower forms of life can simply be rejected by human beings. We have already lived every single form of insect, plant and animal life. This is how human beings came to be!
