For a spiritual seeker after the body goes to sleep... to roam about the confines of mother earth and the surroundings is not new. For soul atman is the real essence of life. It has manifested the body and not vice versa.

our soul atman the spirit within soul atman being a pure source of energy is absolutely free to roam within the confines of the solar system. As the purity within a human being increases... so does the travel. More the purity... farther the travel! At the time of death of the body... the soul atman within the body goes to heaven or hell depending on the residual balance of karma. Heaven is located in the centre of the sun where temperatures exceed millions of degrees centigrade.

Hell is located in the outer periphery where temperatures are less. The travel of the soul atman is possible within the confines of the gravitational system of the sun. No soul atman can travel beyond the gravitational region of the solar system.

It is only when a human gains enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and salvation (moksha)... the soul atman within liberates forever from the cycle of birth and death. It is then the soul atman becomes free to travel to the kingdom of God (aka Vaikuntha in Hinduism). The kingdom of God is located in the centre of the Cosmos.

Having realized God in 1993... I gained absolute purity. After I put my body to rest... as a purified soul atman I can travel to any part of the Cosmos. This is my last... the 8.4 million manifestation. After I leave the mortal frame I shall leave for the kingdom of God permanently.

Dreams are something different. Every human being at every stage of life lives two lives... one prompted by the ego of the manifest physical self and the other dictated by our soul atman within. Whenever there is a conflict in following the ultimate goal of life as dictated by our soul atman within... dreams follow! In dreams... our soul atman tries to indicate that something is wrong somewhere... remedial measures are required!

Those who follow the dictates of our soul atman within... have dreamless sleep. Those dictated by ego... have a disturbed sleep followed by dreams! Dreams actually are a release valve as in a pressure cooker. Whenever the pressures in physical manifested life increase beyond endurance... dreams follow! In absence of dreams our brain would just burst because of the pressures.
