After death our soul atman the spirit within soul is either manifesting another body, in heaven or hell! There is no fourth place where a soul can be. Why?

Whenever the death of a human body occurs and soul atman within becomes free... if it finds matching parents on Mother Earth then it manifests that body depending upon the residual balance of karma. Based on the residual balance of karma the soul manifested your body!

In case no suitable matching parents are available then in the interim period the soul atman remains either in heaven or hell. A positive balance of karma commands a seat in heaven for the soul... a negative balance makes the soul go to hell. Sooner matching parents are available... the soul immediately manifests the body!
