Who says animals do not have a soul. Now science has also proved that even plants have a soul! If we try to understand the concept of the Cosmos from the beginning... everything becomes clear. Nothing is ambiguous in the cosmic system. All is the result of a law that cannot err!

When a new cosmos is built after the big bang... all souls atmans spread out in the whole of cosmos at unbelievable speeds. These cosmic speeds result in every soul atman getting impurities on the way. To remove these impurities (the dross within)... every soul atman manifests body after another. And begins the cosmic life cycle of the soul atman!

Right from the first manifestation as an amoeba (single cell formation) to the last... the 8.4 millionth manifestation as a human being... the journey of soul atman continues without break. The initial 7.3 million manifestations are spent as insect life, plant life and animal life. The balance 1.1 million manifestations are in the form of a human being.

It is only as a human being that one gains enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha). Thereafter... the soul atman having liberated from the cycle of birth and death forever regains its pristine pure original form and goes back to the kingdom of God (aka Baikuntha in Hinduism).

The insect life, the plant life, the animal life and the form of a human being in the cosmic life cycle of a soul atman is like the life of a human being. In the life of a human being initial 25 years are spent as a student, next 25 five years in a profession and married life, next 25 years in contemplation of God and the balance 25 as a sanyasi (renunciate) in renunciation.

Similarly in the cosmic life cycle of a soul atman... initial years are spent in insect form, then plant life, then animal life and finally the form of a human being. Every soul atman gains the body of a human being after having passed through the cycle of 7.3 million manifestations. It is absolutely the grace of God that we are born a human being... the highest manifest stage in the cosmic life cycle.

From a human being who has reached 70 years of age... one does not expect criticism of the time spent as a child (the insect life), nor when one was in the profession (plant life)... all being part of the cosmic life cycle.

It is spirituality that teaches us what life is all about. Bhagavad Gita... the sacred document of Hinduism provides everything worth knowing by a human being. The knower of Bhagavad Gita becomes the knower of all. Everything detailed above has been clearly expressed in Bhagavad Gita... the doctrine by Lord Krishna in the battle of Mahabharata.

Define Awareness
Awareness is being aware of the presence of a higher power... a spirit within our body! Our soul atman that resides in our heart is the real essence of life. It is our soul atman within that has manifested the body and not vice versa. We must always remain aware that the fruits of all karma performed by us always belong to our soul atman within... the ultimate governor of life!

Define Inner Self
Our inner self... is the real self of us... our soul atman that resides within our heart! As long as the soul atman resides in the heart... it keeps on beating. The moment the soul atman leaves the body... it decays and dies! It is our inner self... our soul atman within that has manifested the present body and not vice versa. It is not within the competence of a body to manifest a soul atman.

Define Soul
Soul is that spark of life within every human being that makes life go full circle. It is the soul that has manifested the body and never otherwise.
If people say that black man have no soul, we need not run after the literal meaning. It simply implies that black man is more ruthless in their dealings compared to others. Rather the spark of life within black human beings remains inactive because of their lowly dealings.

Soul and Death
The liberated soul shall manifest a body in the next manifestation. This new body... this new manifestation would not have any connection with the previous manifestation... unlike what happened in the case of Jesus Christ. The rising of the Jesus Christ on the third day after the crucifixion is no simple deed... such deeds can be exercised by enlightened beings alone... those who have reached the stage of salvation.

Enlightenment and Soul
To find an enlightened soul in the present Kali Yuga is extremely difficult for the only reason... the manifest phase of life we are passing through is more inclined towards wanton desires and materialistic reaches.
Imagine a situation if 24 Jesus Christ manifested today... how we would recognize the seniority... whom to pray or not!
