Spiritual Path

If you truly desire traveling the spiritual path... you need learn the Wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita. The knower of Bhagavad Gita becomes the knower of all! Everything that is required to be known on the spiritual path is contained in Bhagavad Gita.

One single document... the sacred Bhagavad Gita teaches all right from the first manifestation as an amoeba to the last... the 8.4 millionth manifestation when a human being gains enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha).

The lowest priced copy of Bhagavad Gita is available in India at Gita press, Gorakhpur for a mere Rs. 12/= (25 cents)... yet the humanity is busier gaining materialistic riches... they shall never truly enjoy or carry to the next manifestation.

The gist of Bhagavad Gita is not easily understood. One who establishes a firm goal in life come whatever may... I need to reach the kingdom of God (aka Baikuntha in Hinduism) may possibly reach the end... never otherwise!

The doctrine of Bhagavad Gita was given to the mankind by Lord Krishna... an Avatar of the era (God Almighty himself manifests in human form). It comprises of 700 shlokas (versus) which are to be understood in-depth (not literally as the masses normally do).

The path to the kingdom of God is clear. If we desire reaching the stage of Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ or Prophet Mohammed we need to do the following:-

Follow the path of absolute truthfulness throughout life. No exceptions are ever permitted! Being truthful we need to take control of the five senses and the mind. The moment one controls the senses and the mind... we reach the stage of Nirvikalpa Samadhi. One has practically reached the end goal of life. In Nirvikalpa Samadhi one comes face-to-face with God Almighty every moment of time.

Practicing absolute celibacy for a minimum period of 12 years is the next necessity. Searching for God following the path of Neti (not this, not this) as preached and advocated by Maharishi Ramana is a sure shot method for reaching the stage of self realization. Neti is best practiced in the Shavasana pose of yoga (the death pose).

Most human beings although desire following the spiritual path never fix a goal in life... can such people ever be trusted to follow spirituality to the core! Apart from the other factors... learning what Prarabdha karma is all about and ways to cut across the Prarabdha karma is the most difficult task for any spiritual seeker.

The path of cutting across the Prarabdha karma is unknown to one and all. A maximum of two to three persons on Mother Earth amongst 6500 million people would know the mantra of the Prarabdha karma. This is also an essential ingredient before one reaches the stage of self realization. Understanding the true purport of karma is also essential.

Following the teachings of Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana paves way for gaining self realization in this very life. My two web sites listed below cater to glossary and essays on spirituality and Hinduism. Some of the essays are so potential that every reading gives a different meaning. Many have been published in magazines world over. May God bless you!

Being Spiritual
Being spiritual means following the path towards God Almighty! Every human being is primarily spiritual. The fact that the body of a human being does not belong to one cannot be denied. It has been manifested by the spirit within... the soul atman residing within our heart. Our soul atman is the absolute owner of the body for the present manifestation. Everything we do... the fruits of our karma always belong to the soul atman within.

Spiritual Awakening
If you truly desire traveling the spiritual path... you need learn the Wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita. The knower of Bhagavad Gita becomes the knower of all! Everything that is required to be known on the spiritual path is contained in Bhagavad Gita. One single document... the sacred Bhagavad Gita teaches all right from the first manifestation as an amoeba to the last... the 8.4 millionth manifestation when a human being gains enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha).

Spiritual Experience
Spirituality is that subtle truth of life in absence of which no living being can survive. It is pure spirituality that makes one aware of the spiritual awakenings on the spiritual path. Reaching the end of life... gaining enlightenment is the cosmic goal fixed by God Almighty. Every form of life shall gain enlightenment in the 8.4 millionth manifestation come whatever may... doing it now in the present manifestation is becoming a Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ or prophet Mohammed in this life itself.

Spiritual Enlightenment
The weirdest spiritual experience I have ever had was when I took absolute control over the senses and the mind. I was nearing my goal of self realization... way around 1993. The moment God Almighty came in my vision on one-to-one basis after having reached the level of Nirvikalpa Samadhi... I realized the potential of my achievements.

Spiritual Path
Enlightenment is pronounced enlightenment. It is never pronounced spiritual enlightenment for the reason that traveling the path of spirituality one gains enlightenment... never otherwise! No religious person ever gains enlightenment. One needs travel the spiritual path to gain enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha).
