Spirituality
and Family Life Traveling
the spiritual path... one simply cannot maintain a relationship that involves
love and sex. A relationship between people of opposite sex demands sensuality
which is never forthcoming because of the spirituality involved. The path of spirituality
demands practice of absolute celibacy (Brahmacharya)... something that is tough
to practice in real life! Between
the spiritual path and the relationship... we definitely need to choose one! If
we do not do that... we fall in the same line as that of Siddhartha Gautama...
who in the initial stages of spiritual practice left home without burning his
karma in entirety. The result... Siddhartha Gautama for many years... rather decades
kept wandering with no results in sight! For
a serious seeker of spirituality... burning karma in totality is essential! This
includes every form of relationship whatsoever. Walking the spiritual path and
maintaining a relationship are two banks of the same river that never meet come
whatever may! On the path of spirituality we simply cannot remain hopeful... it
is a matter of yes or no! No
girl or woman on Mother Earth can ever understand the true meaning of spirituality
or the inclinations of a spiritual seeker. She was never made for that. God Almighty
meant it so! God Almighty imbibed in woman folk the attribute of bondage (Moha
in Hinduism) that was necessary for family life to survive on Mother Earth. The
presence of bondage (Moha) in women folk is so strong that no girl or woman can
ever escape from the clutches of bondage (Moha). And what is this attribute of
bondage (Moha)? It is bondage Moha that takes care of family ties! The strong
feeling of motherhood in women tears apart the spirituality in the strongest contenders
of spiritual path! It
is this bondage in women folk that keeps the family going even in toughest of
circumstances. Survival even in all odds becomes possible with the presence of
bondage Moha in women! If a woman finds a child (not belonging to her) weeping
on the road... the attribute of bondage imbibed within her makes her act like
a Mother to the child! It
is this bondage Moha that asks for a special meaning in relationships! Spirituality
dissuades one from the sensual part of life! To maintain a balance between the
two was not possible for Buddha... how can a commoner expect to overcome this
difficult task! One simply has to choose between the two! Spirituality or relationship...
there is no other solution! Essay by: Vijay

Spirituality Spirituality
is not what you talk about. Spirituality has a deep ingrained meaning! Spirituality
is knowing real self of us... the wisdom of our soul atman within! Spirituality
is gaining enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) at the earliest. Spirituality is becoming
a Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ or prophet Mohammed early in life.

Spiritual Guidance
Guidance in matters
spiritual... where to find it! At 11 years of age I finalized my goal of life...
I had to search God in this life come whatever may. At 13 years of age my desire
had converted into absolute conviction.I
wanted a spiritual guide... I got none. I ventured all over my country but found
none to guide me. Hordes of religious teachers but spiritual master none. I tried
my best but failed. In exasperation I requested God Almighty to send an angel
to guide me... I kept waiting but it was nowhere in sight!

Spirituality
not Religion To
be spiritual... is following the path of God. Religion is a ritual... a following!Spirituality
provides Inner peace... religion outer happiness! Spirituality
is understanding the truth of our soul atman within our heart. Religion is living
peacefully amongst the community. Spirituality
is reading the Bhagavad Gita and assimilating the pearls of wisdom therein. Religion
is going to the temples, churches or mosque and praying to God. Whether you get
anything in return is not the question. It is simply abiding by the dictates of
the elders.

Spiritual Experience
I had one of the best
spiritual experiences... the personal experience of coming face to face with God
Almighty on one-to-one basis. It was an experience that can never be explained
in words.When I was
11 years of age I had a very strong conviction of experiencing God in this life.
Another two years to go... my conviction had turned into a burning goal of life.
Come whatever may... I shall face God Almighty in this very life.

Life Spiritual
life is best lived having absolute faith in the system of God. I have observed
many people world over doing their part... the daily prayers, religiously going
to the places of worship like churches, temples and mosques but to what avail!
Having hundred percent faith in God Almighty... The basic ingredient on the path
to spirituality was missing in most! | |
