Definition of SuccessMy definition of success is simple. Pursuing a goal of life dear to our heart... when we achieve success in realizing the goal of life... nothing is more realistic... lively... on top of the world! I wanted to see and meet God in this very life when 11 years of age. By 13 my desire turned into firm conviction... in this very life come whatever may I shall see and meet God. 25 years of yoga meditation... I finally realized God in 1993 at 37 years of age. I had reached the pinnacle of spiritual pursuit... the end of cosmic journey... the 8.4 millionth manifestation... the last in the cosmic life cycle! Nowhere else to go further... I shall but attain salvation (moksha) in this very life. When Edmund Hillary became the first mountaineer to climb Mount Everest... he became disheartened. He had nowhere else to go further. He had reached the epitome of mountaineering. In my search for God, I always had scope for further development until I reached the last. I wanted to be one with God... experience bliss all the time! our soul atman the spirit within soul atman... the spirit within is the absolute master and controller of the body. Gaining enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha) is the end goal of every human life... every physical manifest form! Who knows what we shall be in the next manifestation... why not travel the spiritual path now! The definition of success varies from person to person. Why? In the human form alone we have 1.1 million manifestations to reach the stage of enlightenment and salvation. We simply cannot expect a student of class one to jump to class 12. The journey of life is climbed gradually... step-by-step! In whatever walk of life one is... we must form a definite goal. With all eggs in one basket... with the bulldog determination of Winston Churchill... we must accomplish that goal. Once done... form another goal and jump after it! Success never was a destination... it is part of journey!
