Power
from within Inner strength Whenever
we get bogged down in life... we always look forward to an external source. Books
and in particular autobiographies of famous men always inspire us. "Law of
success" by Napoleon hill is more than a Bible for one. Totally out of harmony
from within... the books of Napoleon hill provide the much needed solace. The
real strength comes from our own character... the path of truthfulness that we
are supposed to follow. Unless we are truthful to self... no matter whom we look
forward to... the happiness we search for always eludes us. We have to follow
the path of absolute truthfulness to stand up and face life again. Utmost
of all is the strength of our own soul atman that always prompts us on the right
path. Our soul atman is the real essence of life that has manifested this body
and not otherwise. It is the rightful owner of this body in the present manifestation.
It is only when our body prompted by ego takes a different path other than prompted
by our soul atman within... the disparity occurs! To
hear the sweet small inner voice coming from within... the voice of our soul atman
residing within our heart... we need to follow the path of absolute truthfulness.
Unless we can do that... one shall not hear the voice of our soul atman. Human
beings who scaled forbidden barriers were those who had a knack for hearing the
voice of our soul atman within. It
is hearing the sweet small inner voice of our soul atman within (and subsequently
following the dictates)... one reaches the end of cosmic life... the 8.4 millionth
manifestation. One finally gains enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and salvation
(moksha). In
my search for God, I developed this capability early in life. As young as 15 years
of age, I was clearly able to hear the promptings of my soul atman within that
always guided me on the right path. For this we only need to follow the path of
absolute truthfulness. Essay by: Vijay

| Satyagraha
Satyagraha is living
life following the path of absolute truthfulness... Satya ka agraha which literally
means in Hindi... following the path of truthfulness (Satya means truth). In
a dishonest world... to think spending a lifetime living the path of absolute
truthfulness is beyond comprehension. It is not only difficult but incomprehensible.
Mahatma Gandhi tried it... he was successful in implementation of Satyagraha.
He had a very big objective behind him... Freedom of a big democratic setup like
India! He was willing to pay any price for that... his Satyagraha finally made
the British quit India.

Gaining purity
Traveling the path of
absolute truthfulness makes one pure. While traveling on the spiritual path as
we remove the dross within... we become purer by the day. Taking control of the
five senses and the mind gives us absolute purity. Having controlled the five
senses and the mind one reaches the stage of Nirvikalpa Samadhi.

Dishonesty
If people are dishonest...
are we supposed to worry? Who gave us this right! In the cosmic system of things
everything in life has two facets. If we have God at plus hundred... we also have
Satan at minus hundred. We have day... we also have night. We have fire... we
also have water. In absence of one... the other loses its meaning. If the society
was totally honest... life would become so monotonous... it would lose its meaning!

Hidden Truths
Truths nobody can fathom...
absolute truths contained in scriptures of all religions of the world... always
remain elusive to the common man! Why? Everything we perceive in the mortal...
the ephemeral world is governed by our senses and the mind. The absolute truths
contained in the sacred scriptures of all religions are beyond the purview of
the senses and the mind. | |
