Jnana Yoga

I shall explain the basic fundamental of jnana yoga... the straight path to God Almighty! In Hinduism we have karma yoga, Bhakti yoga and finally jnana yoga. Every human being until reaching the stage of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) in the initial stages indulges in karma yoga and Bhakti yoga!

It is only through the process of karma yoga... life moves ahead in the cosmic system. It is inevitable! For each and every individual human being... there is no escape from karma yoga! The path of Bhakti yoga... is the path of rituals. Singing praise of God almighty... engaging in bhajans, kirtans... is indulging on the path of Bhakti yoga!

To reach God Almighty... to reach the stage of enlightenment... traveling the path of jnana yoga is necessitated! For knowing the real essence of life... for understanding the gist of the Sacred Bhagavad Gita... one needs traveling the path of jnana yoga... the path of jnana... absolute wisdom!

Whatever is contained in the Sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism can only be understood by traveling the path of jnana yoga... the path of wisdom! The process of self inquiry... as preached and advocated by Maharishi Ramana... is the path of jnana yoga!

Dwelling in the domain of our soul atman... the true inner self residing within our heart... one finally reaches God Almighty through the path of jnana yoga... never otherwise! Jnana yoga is understanding that God Almighty is the only truth of life... rest all is the working of Maya (veil of illusion) as detailed by Adi Shankara (Adi Shankaracharya)!

It is only through the path of jnana yoga one ultimately realizes that the cosmic journey is undertaken by our soul atman... the spirit within and not the human form! our soul atman the spirit within soul atman has manifested the human form to work out its karma... remove the dross impurities within!

our soul atman the spirit within soul atman being the absolute master and controller of the body... the goal of life also belongs to our soul atman. Right from the first manifestation (as an amoeba) to the last... the 8.4 millionth manifestation... the goal of life for the soul atman remains liberation from the cycle of birth and death forever.

Regaining its original pure prime pristine primordial form is the goal of life for every soul atman... the spirit within! The path of jnana yoga is meant for the serious seeker of spirituality... never otherwise! In the last about 150 years only two persons world over gained enlightenment... sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana.

Both Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana started their spiritual journey in search of God through the path of Bhakti yoga... engaging in temple worship, bhajans and kirtans! Finally they switched over to the path of jnana yoga. Of its own... the path of Bhakti yoga after a certain limit merges with path of jnana yoga!
