result of Yoga primarily is cleansing our mind process of the clutter...
the unwanted thoughts that saturate our mind most of the time.
(not this, not this) in the Shavasana pose of yoga... I finally
realized God in 1993 at 37 years of age! The Shavasana pose of Yoga...
the dead pose has its advantages!
Lying in the
Shavasana pose of yoga... as I was nearing the end goal of my life...
the stage of self realization... I was able to reduce my heart beats
from 72 to 30. As I tried reducing further to 26... Immediately
came a voice from within... no further... my heart was beating rapidly
I was scared...
my inner voice clearly indicated to me that if I reduced my heartbeat
to 24... It meant instant death. I again took my heartbeat back
to 32. For a Yogi... a serious seeker of spirituality... the heartbeat
can range anything from 72 to 32!
upon the Yoga practice... the level of meditation one has reached!
For one like Baba Ramdev (the famous yoga teacher from India)...
reducing heartbeat from 72 to 32 is a routine affair... one can
do it any moment of time!
of Baba Ramdev in present times are without a parallel! On the path
of yoga meditation... it is however advisable never to indulge in
reducing heartbeat beyond 32.
One who can
continually maintain the heartbeat at 32 can easily stretch the
life journey to above 200 years. As per the sacred scriptures the
average life of a human being has been considered as hundred (i.e.
with normal heartbeat of 72).
our heartbeat to 48 and maintaining it regularly... one can increase
the age from 100 to 200! This is not a calculation... an assumption...
this is a fact of life on the spiritual path! The maximum human
beings can go up to is 225 years... never more!
