Krishna Hinduism

Whatever the saying... whatever the belief... there has never existed a human being called Vishnu! Lord Vishnu is simply an attribute of God Almighty termed Brahman in Hinduism. Lord Vishnu is part of Hindu Trinity of gods. Lord Vishnu is the maintainer of the cosmic system.

Lord Krishna is considered incarnation of Vishnu as Lord Krishna was an Avatar of his era... God manifest in human form! And the purpose of an Avatar of an era is... maintaining the system back to its pedestal! Lord Krishna imparted the wisdom of Bhagavad Gita to King Arjuna to re-establish Dharma (righteousness) as chaos had overtaken Dharma (righteousness)!

It is not within the capability of a man God... a human God like Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ or Prophet Mohammed to re-establish Dharma! Dharma (righteousness) can only be maintained by a messiah... an Avatar of his era! Convinced by the teachings of Lord Krishna... King Arjuna finally succeeded in rooting adharma (lawlessness) in the war of Mahabharata.

And who is an Avatar... an Avatar is a combination of a man God... one who has gained enlightenment and Chanakya (the most able administrator in the history of mankind). Chanakya laid to rest in a single day hundred kings in order to save the lives of thousands of soldiers and countrymen. All the hundred kings were got poisoned in a single day.

As per Bhagavad Gita... for saving the lives of many if a single murder is committed... it shall never be termed as sin!

Lord Krishna was born an ordinary mortal... yet gained the powers of an Avatar... a messiah! Vishnu is part of God Almighty... an attribute of God Almighty! There is no comparison between Lord Vishnu and Lord Krishna. One is the manifest self... the other simply an attribute for describing God Almighty... for detailing the greatness of Brahman... the Almighty God!

The only reason Lord Krishna is termed an incarnation of Vishnu is his re-establishing Dharma (righteousness) on Mother Earth! He finally succeeded in getting order back in the chaos spread world over! Re-establishing Dharma required mammoth efforts... it could have been possible only under the guidance of Lord Krishna... never otherwise!

The wisdom contained in sacred scriptures can never be understood literally. Bhagavad Gita contains 700 shlokas (verses). Bhagavad Gita is available for $.40 (Rs 20/=) across most railway stations of India yet, how many fathom the depth of wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism!

If we seriously desire traveling path of jnana yoga... venturing into the uncharted territory of spirituality... we have to assimilate the teachings of Lord Krishna in Bhagavad Gita. There is no other remedy.

Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ and Prophet Mohammed... all gained enlightenment in their lifetime following the teachings of Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism!
