Becoming
healthy Every
human being can become as healthy to prolong life up to 300 years maximum. The
average life span of a human being in the sacred scriptures has been assumed as
hundred years. As of present the average life span of a human being lies between
70 to 80 years. In the circumstances how is it possible to prolong the life span
to 300 years? The
heartbeat of an average human being is 72 and the considered life span hundred
years. What if one could reduce the heartbeat and increase the life span! When
I was nearing self realization in 1993... I was able to reduce my heartbeat to
29. For all practical purposes I had gained absolute control over sleep. I could
now work round the clock almost 23 and half hours a day. It was an experience
that can only be felt. A mere 6 to 10 minutes of sleep was equivalent of eight
hours of peaceful sleep. One
day I decided to further decrease my heartbeat. Sooner the thought was invoked
by me... my soul atman within my heart prompted that I must never indulge in reducing
my heartbeat to 24 or below. It was instant death at 24. For a few moments I reduce
my heartbeat to 26... I realized the gravity of the situation. Increased palpitations
in my heart confirmed the dictates of my soul atman within. I
was sure for now that any human being by decreasing the heartbeat can proportionately
increase ones life span. That was the ultimate of physical endurance and capability. Mental
capability of a human being is reflected in Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ
and Prophet Mohammed... all of whom gained enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and
finally salvation (moksha) in their lifetime. Gaining
enlightenment and finally salvation is the ultimate crux of life. There is nothing
more to achieve for human being in the cosmic world. Reaching the 8.4 millionth
manifestation... our soul atman liberates forever from the cycle of birth and
death... one finally reaches the kingdom of God (aka Baikuntha in Hinduism). Essay by: Vijay

masturbation Masturbation
is still a taboo subject for many. People shy away talking the subject. Let me
be clear on this subject. Excessive masturbation makes us lose that vital ingredient
in life that makes a Buddha out of an ordinary mortal. Two friends entered the
same college... their initial education was the same. One became the most successful
president of America, the other toiling for bread-and-butter day and night. How
and why?

Excessive
masturbation Excessive
masturbation definitely leads to a lower sperm count as has been confirmed by
many sexologists world over. Normal indulgence about once a week would not harm
much. Anything in excess of that is burning the precious energy that was destined
by God to be stored by every human being. And
why do we masturbate. As a human being are we unable to control our desires! A
look at a girl and we let loose our precious energy through physical channels!
This is not a desired trait of character if we want to become successful later
in life. In any career of our choosing... if we are to become famous and successful...
we need to preserve this special quota of energy given to every man and woman
monthly.

Masturbating
is bad Masturbation
for a bachelor must be limited to once or twice a week maximum... although once
a week is desirable! Have we ever thought... why indulge at all! Why not practice
absolute celibacy... controlling and eradicating the cause from its roots. Difficult
to practice... but not impossible! This vital quota of energy given to mankind
is what makes a Buddha out of a commoner. Why indulge and lower our esteem!

and that too daily is just too detrimental for health. The effects may not be
apparent now. Later on we might fail to scale the desired frontiers in life. In
a class we may have 30 students. One comes first and the other last. Have we ever
imagined why all the students do not come first! The teacher was the same... the
education was the same!

Wet
dreams Wet
dreams result due to self imposed sexual inhibitions. In our daily life we cross
many of the opposite sex that directly or indirectly attract us... be it our household,
place of work, playground or a picturesque spot like beach etc. This leads to
foreplay of sexual fantasies when asleep and unconsciously the tap gets loose.
It is only in the morning we find we had a wet dream. | |
