Souls and KarmaSouls and karma are interrelated. One cannot exist in absence of other... rather life could not exist in cosmic system in absence of karma. It is only through the complex process of karma every soul atman manifests a new life form after death of body... the present life form! Similar as one
KG of pure gold existing in a lump of hundred KG of gold ore cannot
purify itself of its own and requires external machinery and processes
for purifying one KG of pure gold... extracting one KG of pure gold
from hundred KG lump of gold ore... our soul atman also requires
manifesting karma through a chain of bodies... totaling 8.4 million
manifestations on the whole!
Karma facilitates evolution of life in the cosmic system! In absence of karma the whole Cosmos would become stagnant without life! Whatever the residual balance of karma at the time of death of body... the same becomes opening balance for the next manifestation... the new journey of life! If the residual balance of karma after death of body demands our soul atman manifesting form of a laborer in next life... our soul atman simply cannot manifest the form of a Prince... it simply cannot be! In the cosmic system there never are free lunches... all is the result of a system that cannot err! In the domain of God nothing happens by chance. Every single happening is premeditated. our soul atman the spirit within future is based upon our karma of present. Does this mean control of destiny lay in hands of human beings... yes, the truth is so! The entire destiny of mankind is governed by karma performed by us. In world of karma there is definitely a need for balancing karma... as indulgence in negative karma, bad karma all the time would never produce positive results! If we desire a good future ahead, indulgence in positive karma, good karma all the time is call of day! Control of life never laid in hands of God Almighty... every single individual human being is responsible for ones karma! By understanding definition of karma as laid out in Sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism... seekers of spiritual path finally transcended ephemeral life... gained enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and then salvation (moksha) at end of the journey! Gaining enlightenment means burning karma in its entirety. our soul atman the spirit within soul atman having become pure forever... the need for karma to manifest through a new body now ceases to exist! Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ and Prophet Mohammed... all gained enlightenment in their lifetime by burning karma in totality! The purified soul atman having regained is original prime pristine pure primordial form enters the abode of God... the kingdom of God (aka Vaikuntha in Hinduism). Right from the first manifestation as an amoeba the goal of life for every soul atman remains reaching the end of cosmic life... the 8.4 millionth manifestation at the earliest! Human beings gaining enlightenment and salvation announce the end of journey for soul atman! Karma is not doctrine propriety of Hinduism yet, Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism details the law of karma at its best. Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism is one such document knowing which one finally transcends all barriers of physical manifest life... reaches stage of enlightenment and salvation!
