Right from first manifestation by the soul Atman as an amoeba (single cell formation) to the stage of human beings... goal of life always remains liberation from cycle of birth and death forever. The moment human beings reached stage of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha) the liberated soul Atman need not manifest a human body again!
Liberation from the cycle of birth and death simply means our soul Atman regaining its original lost pure prime pristine primordial form! Achieving of salvation (moksha) by human beings means our soul Atman finally reaching cosmic end of life... the 8.4 millionth manifestation... the last in cosmic life cycle!
Nothing to manifest further... the liberated soul Atman finally enters abode of God... the kingdom of God (termed Vaikuntha in Hinduism). In the circumstances to imagine that human beings become immortal is living in a world of ignorance! Our soul Atman is pure spirit... a cluster of cosmic energy... never the form of human beings!
No doubt human form is last manifestation in life of souls' atmans but the human form is limited by 70 to 80 years of earthly sojourn... a temporary stay in the vast expanse of life cycle of souls' atmans requiring a total of 96.4 million earthly years to reach its cosmic end... the 8.4 millionth manifestation!
Physical immortality in human form is a misnomer. After death of
human body if matching parents are not available on mother Earth
every soul Atman hibernates either in heaven or hell. Heaven (termed
swarga in Hinduism) exists in center of Sun where temperatures exceed
millions of degrees centigrade. It is in such high temperatures
our soul Atman feels comfortable.
Hell (termed Naraka in Hinduism) exists in periphery of Sun where temperatures are considerably less. It is in such low temperatures our soul Atman suffers for eternity. No sooner matching parents become available on mother Earth... the hibernating soul Atman immediately manifests a new body and starts a new cycle of life on mother Earth!
The journey of life in cosmic system truly belongs to our soul Atman and not human form! Religious preachers of present era advocating human being going to heaven after death is simply a misnomer. After death of body the journey of life belongs to our soul Atman and not the dead human body.
Based on residual balance of karma our soul Atman... our inner self...
the real truth of us again manifests a new body on mother Earth!
The crux of cosmic life cycle lay in doctrine of karma that governs
the journey of life of every soul Atman in cosmic system. Every
minutest action performed by manifested form gets recorded in books
of karma... the accountant general of cosmic system!
If we ask, is there a way to become immortal... the answer is simple... a blunt no! Under no circumstance of life one can gain immortality in human form! Physical immortality does not seem to exist in cosmic system. The human form is the highest manifest stage in cosmic life cycle. Only in human form our soul Atman finally liberates self from cycle of birth and death forever!
As detailed in Bhagavad-Gita of Hinduism our soul Atman is immortal since beginning of time... it can neither be created nor destroyed! The immortality of soul is a cosmic phenomenon existing from times immemorial! Most human beings dominated by bloated ego desire immortality in human form... such concepts are never to be!
No religion... no preceptor of spirituality truthfully emphasizes
on immortality of human form! The vitiated teachings of religious
preachers of present era advocate immortality of human body... a
misnomer... a willful campaign just to earn daily bread and butter!
Religious teachers do not know anything about spirituality... the
path that takes one directly towards God Almighty!
How many people world over truthfully follow the path of spirituality... not even one in a million! Why? Most human beings dogged by a bloated ego pursue materialistic goals of life! Can such people ever be expected to learn the inherent truths of spirituality... the path undertaken by our spirit... our inner self... our soul Atman within!
For reaching God one needs traveling the path of jnana yoga... path of absolute wisdom that takes one directly to God Almighty! God can never be reached via path of religion... path of bhakti yoga... path of karma yoga... the path of rituals! God Almighty is always reached traveling uncharted path of spirituality... that takes one directly to our inner domain... our true inner self!
Immortality signifies the stage when birth and death for incumbent
ceases to exist! Every soul Atman is immortal... as stated in Bhagavad-Gita
of Hinduism... no soul Atman ever dies or takes birth! Every soul
Atman as per Bhagavad-Gita is indestructible... nonperishable! The
cosmic journey of 96.4 million earthly years by a soul Atman is
one single span of life!
The moment human beings reached stage of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana)... our soul Atman truly reached stage of immortality as it no more needed to manifest a body again! Having gained absolute purity... the purified soul Atman enters kingdom of God forever (termed Vaikuntha in Hinduism). The kingdom of God is a point of no return!
Manifestation after manifestation... body after body... life cycle of every soul Atman moves uninterrupted! Until soul Atman gains absolute purity... it keeps manifesting one form after another... before reaching 8.4 millionth manifestation... the last in cosmic life cycle! Become immortal in human form is just impossible... more so in a life span of 70 to 80 years!
In the last about 150 years amongst 7 billion people existing world
over only two persons reached stage of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana)
! Both Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana gained enlightenment
in their lifetime! Does not mean Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and
Maharishi Ramana became immortal?
After reaching stage of enlightenment... soul atman of both Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana gained immortality. Devoid of dross impurities within... their souls atmans became immortal... reached end of cosmic life... the 8.4 millionth manifestation! As long as single trace of karma remains within soul Atman... it manifests another body!
The moment entire
karma dissolves forever... the soul Atman gains absolute purity...
reaches the stage of immortality! The immortal soul remains in kingdom
of God until eternity. If we truly desire reaching God in our lifetime...
if we truly desire gaining immortality... we need reaching 8.4 millionth
manifestation by gaining enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally
salvation (moksha)!
