- Define
Spirituality
Spirituality
is not what you talk about. Spirituality has a deep ingrained meaning! Spirituality
is knowing real self of us... the wisdom of our soul atman within! Spirituality
is gaining enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) at the earliest. Spirituality is becoming
a Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ or prophet Mohammed early in life.

|
- Spirituality
not religion
To
be spiritual... is following the path of God. Religion is a ritual... a following!Spirituality
provides Inner peace... Religion outer happiness! Spirituality
is understanding the truth of our soul atman within our heart. Religion is living
peacefully amongst the community. Spirituality
is reading the Bhagavad Gita and assimilating the pearls of wisdom therein. Religion
is going to the temples, churches or mosque and praying to God. Whether you get
anything in return is not the question. It is simply abiding by the dictates of
the elders. |

- Spiritual
Life
Spiritual
life is best lived having absolute faith in the system of God. I have observed
many people world over doing their part... the daily prayers, religiously going
to the places of worship like churches, temples and mosques but to what avail!
Having hundred percent faith in God Almighty... The basic ingredient on the path
to spirituality was missing in most! |

|
- Mother
Earth
God
Almighty is equated with Father. Likewise Mother Earth is the equivalent of Mother.
In absence of one... the other loses its meaning! If souls were not there... the
necessity for planets like Mother Earth would not exist. Also if life supporting
planets like Mother Earth do not exist... souls atmans would never manifest a
body and the whole Cosmos would grind to a halt. |
|
- Spirituality
and Family Life
Traveling
the spiritual path... one simply cannot maintain a relationship that involves
love and sex. A relationship between people of opposite sex demands sensuality
which is never forthcoming because of the spirituality involved. The path of spirituality
demands practice of absolute celibacy (Brahmacharya)... something that is tough
to practice in real life! |
- Path
of Spirituality
Only
those who travel the path of spirituality can act in a truly selfless way! Mahavira,
Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ and Prophet Mohammed... never had a selfish motive
in life! They all traveled the path of pure spirituality... there aim being gaining
enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha) at the earliest!
They were never after things ephemeral in nature. Those pursuing the path of wanton
desires and materialistic riches always have a selfish motive! |
