Celibacy

Celibacy as understood world over is a flawed concept. Celibacy does not mean voluntary abstention from sexual relationship alone. The physical relationship amounts to merely 10% of the whole job. The remaining 90% requires to be practiced mentally.

Celibacy truly means maintaining absolute purity of thoughts all the time. This seems simple yet, one of the most difficult task human beings ever encounter. Every second human beings invoke thousands of thoughts positive or negative.

To stem (zero down) the flow of negative thoughts altogether is what celibacy is all about! Maintaining mental purity all the time in the present Kali Yuga... the Dark Age... the metal age calls for highest standards of perfection!

In the present sensual environment... maintaining positive thoughts all the time really is difficult. For a boy... not even a single sensual thought must enter the mind... and so is for the girl! Easier to say... but difficult to practice! Provocations must be stemmed in the roots!

Those on the path of spirituality... those who desire realizing God in their lifetime need practicing absolute celibacy for a minimum period of 12 years in continuation. Only then full awakening of Kundalini occurs... never otherwise! Celibacy needs to be practiced by travelers of spiritual path.

For reaching the stage of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana)... full awakening of the Kundalini is necessitated. When I started in search for God... 11 years of age I had no inkling what celibacy or Kundalini awakening is all about. Gradually when the meanings became clear... I developed stringent standards of perfection in my life.

Finally in 1993 at 37 years of age I realized God. On the path of pure spirituality... on the path of celibacy a maximum of two sexual interactions per month are permitted... one is advisable! Bhagavad Gita... the most sacred Scripture of Hinduism is absolutely clear on this point.

Only by preserving the most potent of all cosmic energies... the sexual energy and transmuting it to more creative channels... one finally reaches the abode of God! In the history of mankind only two ladies Maitreyi and Gargi gained enlightenment in their lifetime. Traveling the spiritual path is the forte of men not women... so was ordained by God Almighty!
