Sacred Scriptures
The essence
of life lay not in reading as many Scriptural texts as possible...
but in assimilating the depth of wisdom contained in the sacred
scriptures. Bhagavad Gita... the most sacred Scripture of Hinduism
is available for mere $.40 (Rs 20/=) across most railway stations
of India or from Gita press, Gorakhpur, India.
Yet, none is
able to follow the depth of wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita. For...
the knower of Bhagavad Gita finally becomes the knower of all...
gains omniscience for all practical purposes. In the last about
150 years only two persons world over fathomed the depth of wisdom
contained in sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism... they gained enlightenment
(kaivalya jnana) in their lifetime!
Bhagavad Gita
has nothing to do with religion. For knowing God... for reaching
the abode of God... one needs following the path of spirituality!
Understanding our true inner self... the real self of us that exists
within us as our soul atman... the spirit within is what spirituality
is all about! religion is necessitated for living the present earthly
domain of 70 to 80 years!
Spirituality
is churning the real self of us... knowing the reality of life that
it is our soul atman... the spirit within... that has manifested
the human body to work out its karma... remove the dross impurities
within! It is not within the powers of the human body... the human
form to manifest a soul atman... the spirit within!
The moment our
real self... the soul atman regains its original pure prime pristine
primordial form... one reaches the last leg of cosmic life... the
8.4 million manifestation... when human beings gain enlightenment
(kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha). Gaining liberation
from the cycle of birth and death forever is the ultimate goal of
our soul atman... the spirit within!
religions develop
after enlightened ones. With the advent of Gautama Buddha... followed
Buddhism; with Jesus Christ, Christianity! For passing the earthly
domain peacefully and meaningfully... the path of religion... the
path of rituals is necessitated. Worship and prayers form the essence
of religion. Jnana (wisdom) forms the essence of spirituality.
